Our excellent Emergency First Aid at Work course will give learners the skills and knowledge to treat casualties in the workplace in a prompt, safe and effective manner.
We come to you to deliver the training, eliminating the need for your team to travel and maximising convenience.
By involving a mix of classroom based learning and practical, hands-on training, we ensure all learners benefit from the course and leave with the confidence to put their new knowledge into practice.
The course adheres to the requirements of the regulatory body for First Aid. And will ensure you’re ticking your legal requirement as an employer to provide your organisation with Emergency First Aiders.

Course content
A range of subjects are covered over the course, including
Responsibilities and reporting
Assessment of the situation
Basic hygiene in first aid
Anatomy
Resuscitation
Burns, epilepsy, minor injuries, bleeding control, choking, shock.
Is there an exam?
A practical assessment will be carried out by the instructor through the day. There will also be a written assessment to complete on the day as well.
Certification
Following successful completion of the course a three year Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 6 in Scotland) will be issued to the learner.

There’s no need to come with prior experience. This course is suitable for people who have no fire safety knowledge through to those that do.

The course is a 1 day course. Approximately 8 hours.

We will need an area to set up our laptop and projector.
For the live fire training, we’ll need to go outside and use up approximately 2-3 of your car parking spaces.

Online is something we’re considering should the demand grow for it.
However at present all our courses are in-person. We find this provides a better learning experience, with the ability to ask and discuss questions with our expert instructors.
